Shows sixth annual “Allstate America’s best drivers report ™’ safest city drive
NORTHBROOK, ill., Sept. 2/PRNewswire-FirstCall / -Allstate Insurance Company (NYSE: all) today released its sixth annual “Allstate America’s best drivers report ™.” The report is one of the 200 largest cities in America on car collision frequency data which cities identify the safest drivers are entitled according to Allstate.
The year’s highest honor is “America’s safest driving city” Fort Collins, Colorado. Experience according to the report the average driver in Fort Collins of a car collision all 14.5 years which is less likely than the national average about 31 percent.
“For the sixth year, Allstate is releasing the Allstate America’s best drivers report to facilitate an ongoing dialogue about safe driving,” said Mike Roche, Senior Vice President, the Allstate claims organization. “We want the city to recognize Fort Collins as the safest driving city in America, and we welcome all make America safe drivers that help our communities places to live, work and raise families better.”

Hands off road rage – Reduce stress on the road by allowing sufficient time for the trip, plan your route in advance and changes to your schedule or route overworked streets to avoid. Keep in mind, not with aggressive drivers challenge and stay as far away as possible from them.
Maintenance issues – ultimately security also depends of the maintenance of one’s car. Make sure that auto brakes, exhaust systems, tyres, lights, are battery and hoses in good working order.
The report
For the last six years complete Allstate Actuaries, an in-depth analysis of company data to find to determine that the likelihood of drivers in America’s 200 largest cities will experience a vehicle collision when compared to the national average. Internal property damage reported that claims over a two year period (from January 2007 to December 2008) were analyzed, would ensure that construction be charged the results not by external factors such as weather or road.
Weighted average of the two-year numbers determines the annual percentages. The report defines a car crash as a collision, leading to a property damage claim. Allstate’s auto policy represent about 11 percent of all policies of the U.S. car, so that this report is a realistic snapshot of what happened on America’s roadways.
